Method

Sit in Vajarasana pose. Stand on knees. Bend your trunk backward, now take your hands backward holding the both ankles with both hands. Inhale and try to take the head backward. Exhale when feel, then breath normally and stay for a while. Then coming back to the beginning remove your hands and bring them forward. Waist erect. Bending the knee come to the Vajarasana pose. Start again after taking rest.

 

Benefits

As the cells of the lungs become active so it very much useful for asthma patients. Also useful for chest, heart, waist, back and neck related disease. It also tones up the oxygenation organs. Eminoria and dismanoria effected women must practice this posture.

 

Time

One to seven rounds for 30 sec. to three mins.

 

Precautions

While doing this asana keep a folded blanket under the knees. Initially bend slowly backward while standing on the knees.
