Method

Lie down straight on your back keeping both legs together. Heels and toes should be touching Place the hands along the body with palms touching the ground .While pressing with hands on ground inhale and without folding legs raise up to 30º. After staying in this position for some time raise the legs up to 60º. Stay in this position for sometime. Raise legs upto 90º. Now press both handstand bend legs towards head so that hips are raised up. After raising your hips support your back with the hands. Elbow should rest on the ground. While taking the help of hands lift your back and feet upwards. Take feet up in such a way that your legs, stomach and chest should be in one line. Keep the eyes closed. Be in this position for one minute and slowly return to the normal position. While regaining normal position bend the legs slightly towards head. Place both the hands on ground taking support of both hands bring your back down. Slowly come back and stop your legs at 90º. Now without folding your legs come at an angle of 60º then 30º. Stay at this position for some time and now completely keep the legs on ground. Take rest in shavasana for some time and do it again. Do this asana minimum for three times.

 

Benefits

It activates and regulates specially thyroid gland due to which many body activities become systematic, get relieved from backache because of increase of blood circulation in body laziness gets over.

 

Time

In the beginning do it from 30 seconds to one minute then you can do from one minute to 7 minutes.In the first week do three cycles second week do four cycles and in this way no. of cycles can be increased.
