Method

First sit in danasana position on a mat, now make a position of padmasana (which we have already explained). Now pass your right hand from the right calf muscle and then downwards. Similarly pass left hand from left calf muscle and then downwards. Now put body weight on palms and try to lift body up to an elbows. Look front of you. Be in this position for sometimes. If you are not able to hold it, then slowly bring the body on ground and after taking rest do two to three cycles and then again take rest.

 

Benefits

It gives strength to hand muscles. It is a good exercise for people suffering from Parkinson ’s disease. This asana helps in backache and shoulder pain.
