Method

Sit on a mat in dandasana position. Fold your left leg and try to touch left heel to the right hip (as shown in fig). Similarly, fold right leg keep it on left knee to that right heel should be touching left hip. Both the knees should be touching each other. There should not be any gap between knees. Now raise your right hand hold the left hand. Don’t lift left hand. Neck and spine should be straight. Concentrate at one point in front of you. Now first straighten right leg and left leg and come in the position of dandasana, this is the asana from right side. Similarly, practice it from left side also. This completed one cycle. Now take rest.

 

Benefits

It cures weakness in the veins of hands, backache.  It controls Diabetes and helps in excessive urination, semen disorders and leukoria. It controls pulse rate and makes lungs active.

 

Time

In the beginning start it from 30 seconds. After practice it can be done up to seven minutes. In the beginning do one cycle then it can be increased up to three cycles.

 

Precautions

If you are not able to hold hands then only bend at back. Try to keep knees on each other (as shown in the picture).
