Method

Sit on a mat in dandasana position. Fold both the legs and sit on toes. Now take both hands in downward direction and keep a gap of one to one and half feet between hands. Place palms on ground. Lift right leg by touching right arm and shoulder and make it straight similarly lift left leg by touching left arm and shoulder and make it straight. While inhaling balance the weight of body on both hands. When you want to exhale, you can do it slowly. Be in this position for some time and then leave the asana. First fold your legs, Take out hands from legs and bring it in front of you. Place the hips on ground straighten both the legs heels and toes should be touching each other. Bring hands sideways and palms should be facing down wards Come in the position of dandasana. This completes one cycle. Now take rest after completion of two or three cycles.

 

Benefits

It gives strength to the muscles of arms and wrists. Muscles of feet also become strong. It is beneficial in liver and stomach related problems.

 

Time

In the beginning do it for 10 seconds slowly timings can be increased up to one minute. Beginners should start with one cycle only. It can be increased up to three cycles.
