Yoga For Spine

Benefits of this Yoga Pose:

  • Spine becomes flexible and strong.

 Step 1


Lie down straight on your back and spread both the hands ate the shoulder level. Keep both feet together. While inhaling move your neck towards right side and bend your feet left side. Be in this position for some time. While exhaling bring the back down and straighten it. Repeat the exercise from other side also.

 Step 2


Now keep your right foot on left foot and make a cross. While inhaling move your neck towards right and feet towards left. Be in this position for some time. Now while exhaling straightens your body. Repeat this exercise by changing feet from one side to another.

 Step 3


Now keep the heel of left foot in the middle of thumb and fingers of right foot. While inhaling turn your neck towards left and feet towards right. Be in this position for some time. While exhaling straighten your body. Now do the same on the other side by changing the position of the feet.

 Step 4


Bend your right foot and keep it near the left knee. While inhaling turn your neck towards right and feet towards left. Be in this position for some time. While exhaling straighten your body. Repeat this exercise while changing the feet.

 Step 5


Now bend your right foot and keep it on the knee of the left leg. While inhaling turn your neck towards right and feet towards left side. Be in this position for some time. While exhaling Straighten your body. Now change the position of your feet and do it form other side also.

 Step 6


Now bend both the feet .While inhaling turn your neck towards right and feet towards left. After being in this position for some time, while exhaling straighten your body. Do it from other side also.

 Step 7


Fold both the legs and keep it at a distance of 1-2 feet. While inhaling turn your neck towards right and feet towards left. Bend it in such a way that your right knee should touch the heel of left foot. Be in this position for some time. While exhaling straighten your body. Do it from other side also.In this way, do this from other side also.

 Step 8


Fold both hands and keep it near hips. While inhaling, keep turn your neck towards right side and feet towards left arms. Be in this position for some time. Now, while exhaling, straighten your body. Similarly, do it from other side also.

 Step 9


Keep both legs straight. While inhaling, turn your neck towards right side and touch right foot with left hand. Be in this position for some time. Now while exhaling, straighten yourself. Similarly, do it with other leg also.

  • Patients suffering from backache should not do steps 1-7.

Daily 3 to 8 times can be practiced.
